The youngest USMNT player is one of two teenagers that made Marko Mitrovic's 18-player roster for Paris Olympics 2024 this summer.
For the first time since 2008, the U.S. Men's National Team will compete in the Olympic Games. Although the U.S. Women's National Team has a storied history of success at the Olympics, winning four gold medals, the USMNT has never even brought home a medal.
So far, this summer has not been kind to the USMNT. The Stars and Stripes made a disappointing group stage exit at Copa America 2024, and their manager, Gregg Berhalter, was fired in the following weeks. Now, the country is relying on Mitrovic's squad to bring some international glory home to the States.
Here's a breakdown of the USMNT's Paris Olympics 2024 squad, including the young talent getting their first real chance to shine on a global stage.

Who is the youngest USMNT player?
The youngest player on the current senior USMNT roster is Ricardo Pepi. The forward was born on Jan. 9, 2003, making him just 21 years old.
Despite his age, though, Pepi already has 28 caps for his country, as well as 10 goals. He made his debut for the Stars and Stripes at 18 years old back in 2021, and even was named the 2021 U.S. Soccer Young Male player of the Year.
Pepi made the USMNT's Copa America 2024 roster, but will not be traveling to France to compete at the Olympics.
Who is the youngest USMNT player at Paris Olympics 2024?
The youngest USMNT player at Paris Olympics 2024 is Benjamin Cremaschi. The midfielder is just 19 years old, and one of only two teenagers on Marko Mitrovic's 18-player roster.
So far in his young career, Cremaschi has made 55 appearances for Inter Miami in the MLS and scored six goals for his club. His resume is less impressive for the USA; the 19-year-old has just one senior cap for the USMNT, and five for the U-23 squad.
Who has the youngest USMNT debut of all time?
Freddy Adu still holds the record for the youngest USMNT debut of all time. At age 16, Adu made his first appearance for the Stars and Stripes against Canada on Jan. 22, 2006.
The midfielder also became the youngest player to ever debut in the MLS just a couple years prior when he played for D.C. United at 14 years old. His MLS record could finally be broken, though, with 14-year-old Cavan Sullivan's signing for Philadelphia Union.
