The 2022/23 edition of the Women's FA Cup has seen the 438 clubs that initially entered back in September whittled down to just four - one of which will lift the trophy at Wembley come May.

This past Sunday saw all four quarter-final ties played, with Manchester United and Brighton both seeing off second tier opponents in Lewes and Birmingham respectively. Holders Chelsea are also into the last four again after an all-WSL win over Reading.

Aston Villa sprung the shock of the round by beating Manchester City in extra-time courtesy of a goal from Rachel Daly to grow their reputation as City's bogey side. In three meetings across all competitions now this season, Villa are unbeaten and have won twice.

At least one of the teams who gets into the final this season will have got there for the first time. There is also a chance there could be a new winner, with no club other than Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City getting their hands on the FA Cup since Birmingham in 2012. At least one of the WSL 'big three' have been in the final every season since 2004/05.
