- Brazil have work to do in Group F
Buckle up for another feast of final group game drama at the 2023 Women's World Cup.
It's Groups F and G's turn in the spotlight on Wednesday as they each draw to a close.
While Sweden have dominated Group G so far, second spot is still up for grabs, and Brazil still have work to do if they're to get out of Group F after they were beaten by France 2-1 last time out. A stubborn Jamaica awaits Pia Sundhage's Selecao in Melbourne.
Here's everything you need to know about Wednesday's games.
Argentina vs Sweden - Group G
- Location: Hamilton, New Zealand
- Stadium: Waikato Stadium
- Date: Wednesday 2 August
- Kick-off Time: 08:00 BST / 03:00 EST / 00:00 PST
- Referee: Salima Mukansanga (RWA)
Sweden's credentials as potential World Cup winners were laid out in their second group game as they thrashed a decent Italy side 5-0 to all but seal their place in the knockouts as Group G victors.
As a result, there isn't too much at stake for the world's third-ranked nation. But Argentina, having never won in 11 previous World Cup games dating back to their debut in 2003, must win this one to have any chance of advancing into the knockout rounds.
After being edged out by Italy in their group opener, La Albiceleste were held by South Africa last time out to leave them at the bottom of the group with a game to play. Sweden's current form would suggest this is a mammoth task for the South Americans.

South Africa vs Italy - Group G
- Location: Wellington, New Zealand
- Stadium: Wellington Regional Stadium
- Date: Wednesday 2 August
- Kick-off Time: 08:00 BST / 03:00 EST / 00:00 PST
- Referee: Maria Carvajal (CHI)
While they were thrashed by Sweden last time out, Italy's win over Argentina means victory over South Africa on Matchday 3 of Group G will guarantee them a place in the last 16 for the second successive World Cup tournament.
South Africa did the Italians a massive favour by holding Argentina last time out, and Italy may only need a point to progress with Sweden likely to get a result in the other game.
However, a shock South African win would equally send Italy home. Nevertheless, the Europeans will be heavily fancied against the world's 54th-ranked side, although they've also certainly acquitted themselves well so far.

Panama vs France - Group F
- Location: Sydney, Australia
- Stadium: Sydney Football Stadium
- Date: Wednesday 2 August
- Kick-off Time: 11:00 BST / 06:00 EST / 03:00 PST

Quarter-finalists on home soil last time out in 2019, it's hardly been exhilarating stuff from France this time around, but they nonetheless top Group F heading into the final matchday.
However, after being held by Jamaica in their group opener, Les Bleues scored a crucial victory over Brazil on Saturday to leave them in a commanding position in ther group.
While Group F is a condensed one heading into Wednesday's epilogue, France shouldn't have any issues bypassing win-less debutants Panama in Sydney to win the group.

Jamaica vs Brazil - Group F
- Location: Melbourne, Australia
- Stadium: Melbourne Rectangular Stadium
- Date: Wednesday 2 August
- Kick-off Time: 11:00 BST / 06:00 EST / 03:00 PST

The pressure point in Group F arrives in Melbourne as Brazil face Jamaica in a straight duel for a knockout berth.
Jamaica's surprise point against France leaves them ahead of their upcoming opponents in the group, although Brazil will undoubtedly fancy their chances of securing their place in the last 16.
The samba stars dazzled against Panama in their group opener and they'll be hoping to produce a similar performance to blow away a resilient Jamaica. Brazil, finalists in 2007, must win if they're to advance into the knockouts for the seventh straight time at the World Cup.
