World Cup 2022: Group stage fixtures, draw, schedule, kick-off times
The 2022 World Cup is almost over in Qatar. Among the favourites this year were Brazil, Argentina, England and holders France, with the tournament the first of its kind to be held in the Middle East.
Off-field controversies have dogged the build-up and tournament proper so far as teams consider how best to protest Qatar's human rights record, treatment of migrant workers and views on LGBTQ+ people.
