Sam Kerr has won the last two WSL Golden Boot awards after 21 goals in 2020/21 and another 20 in 2021/22. The Australian is among the favourites again in 2022/23 but has stiff competition to make it a hat-trick from the likes of Khadija Shaw, Rachel Daly, Alessia Russo and others.

Who won the WSL Golden Boot in 2021/22?
Chelsea supremo Sam Kerr won a second successive WSL Golden Boot in 2021/22, having already claimed the league's top goalscorer prize for the first time in 2020/21.
Kerr's final tally of 20 goals in 20 appearances was enough to finish six goals clear of Arsenal's Vivianne Miedema, with her stunning brace on the final day of the season against Manchester United actually having a major role in keeping the WSL title with Chelsea.
