God knows what day it is, but apparently, there was a Saturday without Premier League football midway through the domestic calendar. The world's gone mad.

But don't fear, we've got a bucketload of action to enjoy up until the new year. So, while you're saying goodbye to those family members you can most certainly wait to see again this time next year, make sure you're tucking into the upcoming Premier League gameweek which stretches into 2025.

Here's how 90min projects Gameweek 19 of the 2024/25 Premier League season to unfold.

Sunday 29 December

This is going to be the most Saturday-like Sunday ever. There are six Premier League fixtures to enjoy on 29 December, with two televised in the UK and four succumbing to the 3pm blackout.

The action begins at the King Power where Manchester City are hunting just their second win in 14 games. Their unthinkable slide has seen them fall to seventh in the Premier League table and surely without hope of continuing their dominant run at the league's summit.

We associate this fixture with Kevin De Bruyne thunderb*stards and City, given that Erling Haaland has buffered for the past month, may need a couple of vintage moments out of the Belgian on Sunday. Leicester have lost their previous three with Ruud van Nistelrooy at the helm and are struggling to contain their opponents.

Tottenham are in a realm of similar Cityzen desperation as they face Wolves in north London. They've lost their last two and are 11th in the table. The fanbase will surely start to turn on manager Ange Postecoglou if Wolves, buoyed by Vitor Pereira's arrival, win their third on the bounce.

Southampton require a miracle if they're to retain their Premier League status, but there were promising signs on Ivan Juric's managerial bow - even if they did fall to a 1-0 defeat to West Ham on Boxing Day. The Saints take on a Crystal Palace side that has acheived stability after a woeful start to the season.

Everton's nightmare schedule has been astutely navigated thus far and Nottingham Forest are the next high-flyer hopeful of breaking down the stubborn Toffees. Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City have all mustered draws against Sean Dyche's men this month.

The league leaders wrap up Sunday's action as they travel to east London and face West Ham. Liverpool are on course for a 93-point season at their current trajectory, and they can open up a nine-point gap at the summit with a win over the Hammers. Julen Loptegui's side have enjoyed an uptick in results, but performances have left plenty to be desired.

Monday 30 December

We'll have to wait until the evening for Monday's action, but the three games are bound to intrigue.

Chelsea have endured a festive blip and were beaten by Fulham on Boxing Day - their first time losing to the Cottagers at Stamford Bridge in 45 years. The Blues must ensure the dip doesn't drift into a prolonged drought, but Enzo Maresca's side are nonetheless ahead of schedule.

They have a great opportunity to return to winning ways at Portman Road as they face an Ipswich side who have won just twice in the league this term.

Aston Villa did not enjoy their Boxing Day trip to Tyneside, with Anthony Gordon's early goal and Jhon Duran's first-half red card setting the stage for a bleak afternoon. Will they bounce back on home soil when they welcome a Brighton side without a win in six to Villa Park?

Newcastle have been excellent as of late and have soared up to fifth in the table. Their electric form contrasts that of Manchester United, who have lost their last three in all competitions after winning the Manchester derby. The Red Devils have sunk to 14th with Ruben Amorim at the helm.

Wednesday 1 January

We get some respite on New Year's Eve, but are welcomed into the new year with an evening kick off on 1 January.

Brentford have stalled over the festive period having sparkled at the Gtech all season, with Nottingham Forest becoming the first team to triumph over the Bees in west London just before Christmas.

Thomas Frank's side have been hindered by injuries, but they're facing an Arsenal team that's going to be without Bukayo Saka for the long haul after the winger underwent hamstring surgery. The Gunners are a team capable of controlling contests from minute one, but final third quality has been a concern.

Their inability to turn draws into wins may compromise any potential title challenge.
