The 2024/25 Women's Super League (WSL) season has been packed to the brim of exciting young talent all making a name for themselves in England's top flight.
From Chelsea's midfield maestros to Manchester United's exciting wingers, the WSL has hosted a new era of fresh talent so far this season.
With many emerging talents now breaking into their national team set ups, it seems like the dawn of a new age is taking over both the WSL and the rest of the world.
Here, 90min have ranked the top 10 performing youngsters in the WSL so far...
10. Ruby Mace (Leicester City)
There were questions asked when Ruby Mace departed Manchester City for Leicester City ahead of the new season, but the bold move has paid off exceptionally. The versatile 21-year-old has been an instrumental figure for the Foxes, earning her first senior England call up thanks to her standout form.
Mace plays with maturity in the depths of the Leicester midfield, displaying both her defensive and attacking strengths consistently.
9. Celin Bizet (Manchester United)
Many questioned her move from Tottenham Hotspur over the summer, but Celin Bizet has become double the player she once was since signing for the Red Devils.
Having already integrated herself into the Norway set up, it is easy to forget that Bizet is just 23 years of age. Picking up two goals and five assists during her time at United so far, Bizet has already surpassed her 2023/24 season figures.
The winger plays with an electricity that makes her nearly impossible to match, and defenders are left spinning in an attempt to catch her clever footwork and driving runs.
8. Chasity Grant (Aston Villa)
Signing from Ajax in the summer of 2024, Chasity Grant has settled into Birmingham life quite seamlessly. The exciting forward plays with power and strength, whilst also bringing a technical flair to her exciting game.
With the ability to play down the wing, as well as drop into wing-back, Grant's versatility makes her an exciting asset for both the Netherlands and the Villans.
7. Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea)
Aggie Beever-Jones has become one of England's brightest stars over recent years, and this season has certainly been no exception. The versatile forward often makes her impact from the bench, scoring five goals so far this campaign.
Beever-Jones's ball carrying ability partnered with her pace and directness makes her a shining prospect for Chelsea and England in the future.
6. Aoba Fujino (Manchester City)
The exciting forward has been excellent over recent months, aiding the loss of star forward Lauren Hemp to the best of her ability. The quick-thinking winger allows for an injection of creativity down the right side, working brilliantly with Mary Fowler and Vivianne Miedema at the top of the pitch.
At just 21 years of age, Fujino continues to prove just how high her ceiling may well be.
5. Kyra Cooney-Cross (Arsenal)
Arsenal midfielder Kyra Cooney-Cross has been one of the standout performers of 2025, controlling the Gunners midfield with maturity and authority. Injuries to Lia Walti and Kim Little meant that Slegers was forced to rely on the Australian youngster, and she has not missed a single beat.
Earning herself Arsenal's Player of the Month award for January, Cooney-Cross has become one of the most important players on the pitch for the side.
Cooney-Cross could locate her teammates with a cross-field pass even in a dark room. Her passing ability has allowed Arsenal to break down defensive lines and get on the scoresheet.
4. Wieke Kaptein (Chelsea)
Not only are Chelsea the best team in the league, but the youth players are the ones running the show. Wieke Kaptein is no exception, controlling the attacking midfield areas with an ability far beyond her years.
The Dutch midfielder has made waves since signing for Chelsea in the summer, picking up player of the match appearances in the Champions League before transferring her strong form across to the league.

Maika Hamano has quickly become one of the strongest midfielders in the WSL, and she is only 20 years old. Starting just six league games so far this season, she has become a super-sub for Chelsea, almost always making an instant impact from the bench.
The midfielder possesses a creative flair unlike many others, stringing together the Chelsea defence and attack with her creative brilliance.
2. Olivia Smith (Liverpool)
Olivia Smith has become one of the WSL signings of the summer after joining Liverpool last year. The electric winger has started every single one of the league fixtures that she has featured in this season, despite being just 20 years of age.
The young Canadian continues to provide Liverpool with an exciting spark in their frontline, proving that her ceiling is sky-high.
1. Mary Fowler (Manchester City)
The Australian forward continues to take the league by storm, adding two more assists to her name in Manchester City's 4-0 victory over Liverpool in gameweek 14.
Having turned 22 just days ago, Fowler makes a case to not only be the best youngster in the league, but one of the best players in general. Tied with teammate Bunny Shaw in first for the most combined goals and assists across the WSL (11), the classy forward is beginning to make football look easy.
