Real Madrid have been tipped to entertain offers for winger Rodrygo this summer to fund a rebuild of the struggling squad.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti is expected to be relieved of his duties after a disappointing campaign which saw them emphatically dumped out of the Champions League and fall to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final, with La Liga glory also unlikely at this point in the season.

Plenty of Madrid's squad have underperformed this season and AS note that Rodrygo's form has disappointed those in charge. He has scored just one league goal in 2025 and has taken a notable step back from his ten-goal haul last term.

Those on-field struggles have not helped Rodrygo's cause and it is suggested that Madrid officials could look to cash in on the Brazil winger before his stock begins to plummet too far. He remains a valuable asset and could command a significant fee which could then be used to invest in the struggling squad.

Rodrygo did hint at a departure from the club last summer when Kylian Mbappe's arrival appeared to leave his position in the squad under threat. Madrid boast a star-studded forward line which also includes Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, the latter of whom is thought to be on the cusp of signing a new contract.

Rodrygo is even described as the "weakest link" in that attacking quartet. Mbappe, Bellingham and Vinicius are seen as global superstars capable of generating revenue through their huge influence, but Rodrygo does not provide the same level of commercial benefit to Madrid.

With limited influence and diminishing on-field output, Madrid are thought to be entertaining the idea of parting ways with Rodrygo, although doing so would require the 24-year-old to express an interest in leaving as well.

As it stands, Rodrygo's stance is unclear but he is thought to be growing frustrated with his situation, well aware that Ancelotti's impending exit could harm his chances of retaining his spot as a starter.
