Carlo Ancelotti will use Real Madrid's remaining La Liga fixtures as a means of rotating his squad and handing minutes to fringe players.

Los Blancos have already secured the league title and their sole focus now lies on 1 June when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.

Manager Ancelotti rotated heavily at the weekend as his side thrashed the relegated Granada 4-0 and, although the Italian will want to ensure his key stars aren't rusty for their trip to Wembley, Madrid's projected starters for the final are unlikely to dominate the team sheet against Alaves on Tuesday night.

Here's how Madrid could line up for their next La Liga fixture.

GK: Thibaut Courtois - Despite Andriy Lunin's impressive campaign, Courtois is projected to start against Dortmund and could remain between the sticks for the rest of the domestic season.

RB: Lucas Vazquez - Vazquez struggled badly in Munich but has generally been a reliable deputy to Dani Carvajal and should get the nod on Tuesday.

CB: Eder Militao - Militao will want to be considered alongside Antonio Rudiger against Dortmund having returned from an ACL tear after the March international break.

CB: Nacho Fernandez - Madrid's skipper has improved as the season's gone on and is the current favourite to partner Rudiger at Wembley. Nacho earned minutes off the bench at Wembley.

LB: Fran Garcia - Ferland Mendy is the undisputed first-choice left-back so Garcia, who scored at the weekend, should earn a few starts to end the La Liga season.

DM: Eduardo Camavinga - Aurelien Tchouameni will miss the rest of the domestic campaign with a foot injury, so Camavinga is a shoo-in to start at the base of midfield against Alaves.

CM: Luka Modric - The veteran midfielder still holds plenty of value, often making key contributions off the bench. The Croatian superstar is another who could earn a string of starts to end the league season.

CM: Federico Valverde - Ancelotti could shuffle between his usual starters for the final midfield spot during Madrid's remaining La Liga fixtures. Valverde and Toni Kroos should get a share of the minutes.

AM: Brahim Diaz - Diaz has enjoyed a very productive season as a fringe player. The wily playmaker has 17 goal contributions in 1806 minutes this term and scored twice in Madrid's win at the weekend.

ST: Arda Guler - The young Turkish star didn't have an immediate impact in the Spanish capital due to injury but is starting to show why he's so highly regarded. Guler was also on the scoresheet against Granada.

ST: Joselu - Madrid's semi-final hero will get a lot of minutes down the stretch with Ancelotti likely to preserve Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo until the final.
