Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Arsenal - Champions League
- Real Madrid face visit from Arsenal in Champions League
- Los Blancos must overturn three-goal deficit in quarter-final second leg
- Carlo Ancelotti must inspire incredible comeback

Real Madrid must produce one of the Champions League's greatest comebacks on Wednesday evening if they want to reach the semi-finals of this year's competition.
Los Blancos were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal during the first leg in what was an embarrassing evening for the holders and must do what only five sides have done in Champions League history by coming back from three or more goals down to progress across a two-legged tie.
Madrid have produced many remarkable European comebacks - several in recent seasons - but will have to dig deeper than ever to progress to the semi-finals. Carlo Ancelotti will need to provide the team talk of his career to inspire the Spanish giants into the last four.
Here is how he could line Madrid up against Arsenal.
Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Arsenal (4-2-3-1)
GK: Thibaut Courtois - Courtois produced some mammoth saves at the Emirates before conceding three unstoppable strikes. He will hope to enjoy a quieter evening at the Bernabeu.
RB: Federico Valverde - Ancelotti doesn't trust Lucas Vazquez in big games and with Dani Carvajal out for the season, Valverde will slot into a less familiar role on Wednesday. He's seldom put a foot wrong at right-back.
CB: Raul Asencio - The 22-year-old has shown his class repeatedly since stepping up in place of the injured Eder Militao. He complements the more aggressive Antonio Rudiger in the heart of defence.
CB: Antonio Rudiger - One would expect Rudiger to have the better of his battle with makeshift Arsenal forward Mikel Merino, although the Spaniard did score against Madrid in the first leg.
LB: David Alaba - Alaba was offered no rest by the relentless Bukayo Saka at the Emirates and struggled in a battle of speed and agility. However, with Fran Garcia playing at the weekend and Ferland Mendy ruled out, he should start on Wednesday.
DM: Aurelien Tchouameni - Tchouameni was a notable absentee during the first leg but returns from his European suspension at the Bernabeu. He will offer an extra layer of defensive cover that would have been handy in north London.
DM: Luka Modric - Eduardo Camavinga was sent off during the first leg and is now suspended for the return fixture, meaning Modric will definitely start against the Gunners. Can the veteran produce another magical performance on the continent?
RW: Rodrygo - Rodrygo has produced some memorable Champions League goals during his time with Madrid and Ancelotti wouldn't mind a few more against Arsenal.
AM: Jude Bellingham - The England international was unable to drag Madrid to salvation at the Emirates but could carry them to a victory of some description midweek. There are few more clutch players than the attacking midfielder.
LW: Vinicius Junior - Vinicius will be well-rested after only appearing as a substitute during the weekend win over Alaves, which spells trouble for Jurrien Timber. The Brazilian will expect to be more involved in the second leg than he was in the first.
ST: Kylian Mbappe - Mbappe's suspension for a truly awful red card at the weekend will be served in domestic competitions, meaning he's available on Wednesday. He spurned some big chances at the Emirates.
