Rodri has insisted he remains solely focused on Manchester City in the face of mounting rumours of interest from Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old has emerged as one of the finest players in the world and has recently been the subject of intense speculation, with reports suggesting Madrid could pay close to £100m for his signature next summer.
City, however, are relaxed about Rodri's future and the midfielder has done his best to put the uncertainty to bed.
"I have nothing much to say," Rodri told a press conference. "I have three more years at City.
"When I sign the contracts I don't think of other teams, I just think of finishing. So yes, I have a contract with City and there is nothing else I can say."
Rodri remains under contract until 2027 and City feel under no pressure in regards to his future. There are even plans to offer the Spain international a new contract in the coming weeks, regardless of whether interest from Madrid materialises or not.
Of course, the outcome of City's Premier League hearing could be crucial. The Cityzens have been charged with 115 counts of breaching financial regulations which, if proven to be true, could lead to sanctions severe enough to have an impact on the playing squad.
