Sevilla vs Barcelona: Preview, predictions and lineups
- Barcelona make the journey to Seville on Sunday evening
- La Blaugrana aiming to take advantage of dropped points in Madrid derby
- Hansi Flick's side in impressive form
Barcelona are unbeaten since the turn of the year and are aiming to secure a third successive La Liga victory on Sunday evening when they face Sevilla.
Keen to take advantage of dropped points in Saturday's Madrid derby and fresh from a 5-0 demolition of Valencia in the Copa del Rey on Thursday evening, La Blaugrana will be full of confidence ahead of their trip to Seville. Having won the reverse fixture 5-1 in October, Barcelona have now triumphed in their previous six meetings with the Andalusian side.
Sevilla may be unbeaten in their last four matches but are currently sat 12th in La Liga following a mediocre campaign. Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta's side have struggled for consistency and will be fearing the worst ahead of Barcelona's visit.

Pimienta is already without Tanguy Nianzou and Jose Angel Carmona, too.
Dodi Lukebakio will be the man Barcelona must watch carefully, with the Belgium international having scored nine times in La Liga this season. Atletico Madrid loanee Saul Niguez will be the creator in the engine room.

Dani Olmo made his comeback from injury on Thursday as he arrived from the bench, while Robert Lewandowski and Ronald Araujo should be well rested for the clash with Sevilla after being unused substitutes against Valencia.

Sevilla vs Barcelona score prediction
Barcelona are clear favourites on Sunday and have an impressive recent record against Sevilla. They haven't lost this fixture since February 2021 and smashed five past them earlier this term in La Liga.
While the result might not be quite so emphatic this time around, Barcelona should strut to victory in Seville. They are the division's top scorers by some distance with 60 goals in 22 matches and should have extra motivation knowing they can close the gap on the top two this weekend.
Prediction: Sevilla 1-3 Barcelona
