While Arsenal continue to succumb to adversity, Liverpool are cruising at the summit and calmly veering towards their second Premier League title.

We all crave a thrilling title race which isn't decided until the last, but the Reds' imperious campaign means the division's pressure point down the stretch surrounds the fierce battle for European places.

Arne Slot's side are 13 points clear of the Gunners in second having managed a tough run which included bouts against Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle United in the space of seven days with two wins and a draw.

It's very much a case of when, not if Liverpool end the season as champions. Their points total is bound to be huge, but where could this Reds outfit rank among the all-time Premier League greats? Here's Opta's projection for their final points tally.

Liverpool have amassed 67 points through 28 games, losing just once. Their chances of winning the title are now rated at a whopping 98.94% by Opta's supercomputer after Wednesday's results.

Opta are currently predicting Slot's side to finish 13 points clear of Arsenal in second with a final tally of 89.54. If we round up to 90 points, that means the computer's projecting Liverpool to claim 23 points from their final ten games. That's seven dropped points.

The Reds host Arsenal and Spurs before the season's out, and have tricky away days at Fulham, Chelsea, and Brighton. The title's likely to be wrapped up with plenty of juice left in the domestic campaign, so there's scope for a few blemishes down the stretch, especially if they enjoy a deep Champions League run.

A final tally of 89/90 points would be the club's fourth-highest in Premier League history. Under Jurgen Klopp, the Reds finished behind Manchester City while racking up 97 (2018/19) and 92 (2021/22) point hauls. They won the league in 2019/20 with 99 having been well on course to become the competition's second 'Centurions'.

Slot's side are tracked to become the 15th team in Premier League history to tally at least 90 points. While 2017/18 Man City are the only 100-pointers, 13 others have notched hauls between 90 and 99. Two teams - Arsenal's 2003/04 'Invincibles' and Man Utd 2008/09 - finished with 90 points.

This is an all-time great team with a superstar enjoying the most impressive of individual campaigns down the right flank. It's a side that was cultivated by Klopp but has been refined by Slot.
