Adrien Rabiot would be interested in joining Manchester United this summer but is prepared to let the window run down before deciding his future, 90min understands.

Rabiot left Juventus following the expiration of his contract earlier this summer and, after France's run at Euro 2024 came to a close, turned his attention to finding a new club.

Sources have confirmed to 90min that Rabiot is happy to delay a decision on his future as he waits to see how the transfer market unfolds over the final weeks of the summer window.

The Frenchman is keen to remain in Europe and is eyeing a club who can offer him regular European football.

Rabiot would be interested in a move to United, who will play in the Europa League next season, and is waiting to see whether the Red Devils will act on their historic interest in his services.

As it stands, United are focused on trying to close a deal for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte but, with the two clubs yet to strike an agreement over a fee, United may turn elsewhere and could consider Rabiot, whose wage demands have dropped since he was last contacted by the Premier League outfit.

Despite reports elsewhere, 90min understands that neither Chelsea nor Liverpool have pursued a move for Rabiot this summer to date.

Rabiot currently has significant interest from Galatasaray, while Atletico Madrid could emerge as an option if their pursuit of Chelsea's Conor Gallagher collapses. Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab are also known admirers, but Rabiot is unlikely to entertain a switch to the Middle East unless a move elsewhere fails to materialise.

With so much uncertainty left in the summer transfer window, Rabiot is happy to sit back and wait. As a free agent, he can join a new club at any time, although he would have to sign a contract before a league's squad registration deadline, which is usually around two weeks after the closure of the transfer window.
