Barcelona hold an interest in signing Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, 90min understands, but are running out of time to get a deal for the 28-year-old over the line.

Coman is considering his future in Munich following the arrival of Michael Olise from Aston Villa, and Bayern would be open to sanctioning his departure for around €40m (£34.1m).

Sources have confirmed to 90min that Barcelona have expressed an interest in signing Coman, although the Catalan side may not have the necessary time to raise the funds needed to get a deal for the French forward over the line.

Barcelona's current focus is on selling Ilkay Gundogan and using the salary freed up by his departure to register new signing Dani Olmo, with La Blaugrana not yet in a position to think about more expensive arrivals.

Instead, a return to boyhood side Paris Saint-Germain could be an option for Coman, who came through the ranks at the French side but made just four senior appearances before departing for Juventus in 2014.

PSG have, however, already signed 19-year-old Desire Doue from Rennes in a deal worth €50m (£42.6m) and do not see a move for Coman as a top priority at this point in the summer transfer window. A renewed attempt to secure his signature could be made in January or at the end of the current season unless Bayern reduce their demands, making adding a second winger worthwhile now.

Reports elsewhere have tipped Coman for a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur both named as potential suitors, although sources have downplayed such links to 90min.

Bayern are not pushing to sell Coman, who still has three years remaining on his contract, and are prepared to hand the 28-year-old a role in Vincent Kompany's squad next season if he chooses to remain. But if the right opportunity presents itself, they will sanction a sale.
