Incoming Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca wants the club to sign a goalkeeper, left-back and forward during the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Maresca will soon be sworn in as the Blues' new boss, replacing Mauricio Pochettino in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

The decision to appoint Maresca, who was criticised despite leading Leicester City to this season's Championship title, has drawn widespread scrutiny, but Chelsea are expected to show their commitment to the Italian with a long-term contract.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Maresca has also made his transfer plans known, requesting improvements in the goalkeeper, left-back and forward departments.

Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville is said to be on Chelsea's radar. Liverpool have also been linked with the Dutchman but are still finalising their own transfer preparations following Arne Slot's appointment as head coach. Summerville won the Championship Player of the Season award, contributing 21 goals and 10 assists in all competitions as Leeds finished third before losing in Sunday's play-off final to Southampton.

Chelsea have also agreed a deal to sign Brazilian sensation Estevao, nicknamed 'Messinho', from Palmeiras, though he will not be able to join until he turns 18 in 2025.

Meanwhile, several players are expected to leave Chelsea this summer, including homegrown midfielder Conor Gallagher, who is attracting interest from Aston Villa and rivals Tottenham Hotspur. The England international is out of contract in 2025, and though he has stressed he would like to stay in west London, the club could sell him for pure profit in order to ease financial concerns.

Fellow academy products Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah are also for sale, while Ian Maatsen is expected to leave on a permanent transfer when his loan at Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund ends this summer.
