Tottenham predicted lineup vs Burnley - Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to bring a torrid run of form to an end this weekend when they host relegation-threatened Burnley in the Premier League.

Spurs have lost their last four games in the Premier League while conceding a worrying 13 times, most recently losing 4-2 against Liverpool. They have been in the midst of a tricky run of fixtures, but their performances have left an awful lot to be desired, with Champions League qualification now looking nigh on impossible.

A clash with 19th-placed Burnley seems like the perfect opportunity for the Lilywhites to get back on track, with Tottenham relegating the Clarets with victory on Saturday. Ange Postecoglou has some tough calls to make in terms of his team selection though, with a number of his star performers having underwhelmed in recent weeks.

Here is how Tottenham could line up.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario - The summer signing has had a ropey few weeks, with his lack of authority at corners likely to be targeted by Burnley this weekend. However, he firmly remains Postecoglou's first choice for his shot-stopping abilities and distribution.

RB: Pedro Porro - Part of a Spurs defence that has largely disgraced itself in recent matches, Porro has also had his share of difficult outings. Having said that, he offers Tottenham a unique threat going forward and his range of passing could unlock Burnley's backline.

CB: Cristian Romero - The Argentine has failed to lead by example in recent weeks, but he is hardly the biggest issue with Tottenham's backline. A clean sheet against Burnley would be much appreciated.

CB: Micky van de Ven - Burnley don't have many attacking threats, but they do have several speedy forwards who will aim to exploit Spurs' high line. Van de Ven's pace will be key to keeping them quiet.

LB: Emerson Royal - After dropping an absolute stinker at Anfield last Sunday, the lack of competition for his place may save him from being deservedly dropped.

CM: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - The midfielder may offer some much-needed grit and resilience to Tottenham's midfield having started just one of Spurs' last four matches.

CM: Yves Bissouma - His early season form has faded since the Africa Cup of Nations and he's slightly fortunate that there aren't too many players knocking on Postecoglou's door in the engine room.

RM: Dejan Kulusevski - Could be saved a place in the starting lineup due to a suspected injury suffered to Richarlison, as revealed by Brazil head coach Dorival Junior.

AM: James Maddison - Made an impact from the bench at Anfield, even if not everything he tried came off. His creativity will be crucial in that number ten role.

LM: Brennan Johnson - Energetic but ultimately blunt against Liverpool last time out, Johnson has often saved his best form for home matches this season. Burnley's porous defence won't relish facing the Wales international.

CF: Son Heung-min - Just doesn't look entirely comfortable playing through the middle but it might be a case of needs must if Richarlison really is injured again. Despite Spurs' poor form, he has still managed two goals in his last four appearances.
