Victor Osimhen has confirmed he will not make a decision on a summer transfer until after the season comes to a close.
Osimhen is currently enjoying an excellent loan spell with Galatasaray, who took advantage of a late breakdown in talks between the striker and Chelsea last summer to lure him over to Turkiye for the 2024/25 season.
He is due back at Napoli at the end of the season but is widely expected to move on permanently. Suitors had believed Osimhen would move to the Saudi Pro League, but it was later revealed he is looking to return to a major European league, with his sights set on England.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been tipped to offer Osimhen a change of scenery this summer, but they will have to wait to get a decision out of the Nigeria international.
"A decision will be made at the end of the season about what will be best for everyone," he explained. "Galatasaray will forever be in my heart.
"There are always rumours about me, of course, but I prefer to live in the moment. I am enjoying myself right now; I am enjoying both the club and my life here. The fans have also been incredibly supportive since the first day."
Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, known to be close with Osimhen, has publicly insisted the striker still wants to move to Stamford Bridge following the collapse of negotiations last year.
A transfer fee of €70m (£60.8m) makes him a viable option for many sides across Europe but, as was the case last year, the main stumbling block could be Osimhen's financial demands, believed to be over £300,000 per week.
