West Ham United have signed Carlos Soler on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on loan for the 2024/25 season.

The Hammers have been among Europe's busiest operators in the summer transfer window, with Soler's arrival late on deadline day meaning they have added nine players to new manager Julen Lopetegui's squad.

"I am really excited to be here as a West Ham player," Soler said to club channels.

"It has always been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League, and to be doing it in London with a Club like West Ham is an incredible feeling.

"I can't wait to feel the support of the fans, who I have already heard so much about from conversations with people who know the Club, like my good friend Pablo Fornals.

"I am excited about meeting my new team-mates and giving my all for this Club in the best league in the world."

Soler was in and out of the PSG first team during his two years in the French capital following his 2022 move from boyhood club Valencia. He has been capped 14 times by Spain but was not part of the squad that won Euro 2024.

West Ham's move for Soler was finalised shortly after they loaned James Ward-Prowse to Nottingham Forest, while PSG have also waved goodbye to Manuel Ugarte, who has joined Manchester United on a permanent transfer.
