As the Champions League final edges closer and closer, it's time for football fans across the world to lock in their plans for Saturday evening.

Whether it's heading down the pub with some pals, watching at home in a nice comfy armchair or hosting a European-themed party for the showpiece event, Borussia Dortmund's clash with record champions Real Madrid is a match nobody wants to miss.

Fortunately, there will be plenty of options when tuning into the big game on TV, but whether or not you watch the match with the volume down may well be dependent on the commentary team selected at Wembley Stadium.

Which pundits will cover the Champions League final?

TNT Sports have made an eye-catching scoop for their coverage of this season's Champions League final, revealing legendary manager Jose Mourinho will join their studio team to provide analysis of the clash at Wembley.

The former Chelsea and Madrid boss will be joined by presenter Laura Woods alongside pundits Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves and Steve McManaman.


Who are the commentators for the Champions League final?

TNT Sports have announced their commentary team for the Champions League final on 1 June. Lead commentator Darren Fletcher has covered all the most recent finals and joining him will be Ally McCoist, who was in the gantry for both of Dortmund's semi-final legs.

In the United States, CBS' team has also been confirmed for the big match. In the studio, the usual lineup of Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards will be joined by presenter Kate Abdo. Peter Schmeichel and Alessandro Del Piero will be among the other former pros to feature, while Clive Tyldesley and Rob Green will be the commentary duo in the gantry.

In the United Kingdom, the Champions League final will only be shown live on TNT Sports or discovery+. While viewers would normally need a subscription to watch the competition, discovery+ will be showing the match for free, although you will need to register with the provider for this to be applicable.

In the United States there are a host of different options, with Paramount+, CBS and TUDN among the broadcasters. Up in Canada, the match will be broadcast on DAZN, with Dortmund fans in Germany using the same provider to access coverage.

In Spain, the match will also be broadcast on multiple platforms, including Movistar and fuboTV.
