Liverpool have officially appointed their Jurgen Klopp replacement, with Arne Slot set to take the reigns on June 1.
The appointment of the Feyenoord boss, who enjoyed a thoroughly successful spell at De Kuip, has caused quite the stir on social media.
A good stir though, as many Liverpool fans are notably delighted with the appointment of the Eredivisie and KNVB Cup-winning manager...

Opposition fans have been, as expected, much less receptive of Liverpool's appointment of Slot.
Having seen one of the best managers in Premier League history leave the Reds, many non-Liverpool fans were labelling the appointment of the Dutchman as the beginning of a new banter era.

Plenty of X users have also been keen to point out the work that needs to be done at Anfield in order to make them title contenders next season.
The main task being discussed has been the need to get a tune out of Liverpool's frugal number nine Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguayan was dropped late in the season thanks to his struggles to hit a barn door, missing a whopping 27 big chances during the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
Arne Slot has agreed a three year deal as new Liverpool head coach. One of his tasks will be to improve Darwin Nunez who Liverpool are continuing to back.
