Liverpool may have bid farewell to their Premier League title hopes with a tame 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp's goodbye has quickly descended into chaos and the Reds did little to end the turbulence here. They now sit behind both Arsenal and Manchester City in the standings, despite having played more games.
It all started with yet another set-piece which Jarrod Bowen nodded beyond a sleepy Liverpool defence.
Gakpo getting out jumped by Bowen lol

I didnβt think Liverpool would be club to pull out first from the title race, I never imagined it.

Klopp clearly made an impression at the break as Liverpool came flying out of the gates.
Andy Robertson struck an equaliser within minutes of the restart, and it looked as though Liverpool were about to turn things around.
OH ANDY ANDY.

Well done Klopp for changing it.

Every pass been forward since the half time break !!!!
Cody Gakpo's strike ended up in the back of the net courtesy of no fewer than three deflections - Alphonse Areola the unlucky man to be credited with the own goal after earlier flicks from Angelo Ogbonna and Tomas Soucek.
This is what happens when you take a shot. Just shoot. Paisley said it

βIf youre in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options laterβ
We are trying to walk it into the net. Just shoot like Gakpo did and it goes in

However, Liverpool could not hold on and once again became their own worst enemies.
Alisson failed to deal with a routine cross and, while he made a great save from the shot that followed, Liverpool failed to clear their lines and Bowen's cross was gleefully headed home by Michail Antonio, who has now scored in three straight games for the first time in almost three years.
All comes from a stupid Alisson error

Alisson being Kelleher and then Bazunu in the same phase of play lmao

Hired a bald Dutch manager and conceded a goal to Antonio. Weβre finished.

Liverpool offered very little as the game ticked on and ultimately had to settle for a point, bidding farewell to their title hopes in the process.
A penny for the thoughts of a certain Arne Slot?
Hope klopp decks Salah before he goes

Sums up our season that. Millions of efforts at goal again and our 2 comes from Robbo and an own goal that was going miles wide. Klopp era finishing with a whimper shame on the lot of them #LFC

Ending the season with a whimper..Once again we didn't play we enough to win. Lack of an end product again is a big concern! Title race down to two now! City & Arsenal taking it to the end.
