X reacts to Man Utd's uninspiring 2-2 draw at Bournemouth
- Man Utd failed to beat Bournemouth after taking just one point from their trip to the Vitality Stadium
- The Red Devils have now won just one of their last seven Premier League games
- Visitors hoped to exact revenge after losing 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in December
Manchester United made little improvement from their loss at the hands of Bournemouth in December, being held by the Cherries to a 2-2 draw to head back north with just one point.
Erik ten Hag's side have now recorded just one win from their last seven Premier League games, sitting in seventh place in the table.
An early shot from Dominic Solanke earned the hosts the first goal of the game. Bournemouth looked to be the dominant side, with more chances created, tackles and shots on target in the first 45 minutes.
United captain Bruno Fernandes was desperate to silence the critics and fought back. He secured a equalisers in both halves, but looked visibly annoyed by the lack of desire on show from his fellow teammates.
Between Fernandes' goals, Justin Kluivert put Bournemouth 2-1 up, firing a shot into the net after being given ample time to do so by United's defence.
Question marks remained over United's midfield, who looked unable to fend off any attacking threat.
There was almost a late twist when Bournemouth were awarded a 95th-minute penalty, but VAR concluded that the foul by Willy Kambwala on Ryan Christie was outside the penalty area.
Bournemouth fans were left disappointed after only taking one point, offering a clear sign on the progress they have made. United fans also shared their frustrations on the lacklustre performance.
Fans have continued to question Ten Hag's future, voicing their concerns over whether he should be allowed to continue at United.
