Vinicius Junior was in sublime form for Real Madrid in a dramatic 5-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening.
Madrid had shockingly gone into half-time 2-0 down before a flurry of five goals in the final 30 minutes secured a vital three points for Los Blancos.
Carlo Ancelotti mainly has his star man Vinicius to thank for said three points, with the Ballon d'Or favourite netting a stunning hat-trick in front of a raucous Santiago Bernabeu crowd.
Here's how social media reacted to the dramatic evening of Champions League action in Madrid.
Real Madrid, expectedly, dominated the opening proceedings at the Santiago Bernabeu, but their lack of cutting edge in the final third was rather painfully apparent.
That lack of cutting edge - which resulted in Madrid not having a single shot on target in the opening half an hour - allowed Borussia Dortmund to grow into the game and eventually take the lead via Donyell Malen.
It was a beautifully worked goal, but one that was of so avoidable for the home side too...
Madrid's defensive deficiencies were capitalised upon once again just a few minutes later when Malen found Jamie Bynoe-Gittens unmarked at the back post with a low cross.
2-0.
The Santiago Bernabeu was stunned.
No Real Madrid player was safe from fan fury after a rather abysmal first half display, not even the likes of superstars Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.
Both of whom hit the crossbar when they really should've scored before the half-time whistle.
In typical Real Madrid fashion, the home side clawed their way back into the game in the second half.
Antonio Rudiger would make it 2-1 in the 60th minute with a thumping header...
And two minutes later it was of course 2-2.
The second, which sent the Santiago Bernbeu into rapture, was tapped home by given Vinicius Junior.
After 20 minutes of constant pressure, the inevitable then came to pass.
Lucas Vazquez made amends for his earlier defensive mishaps to score a brilliant goal to give his side a 3-2 lead.
Soon after, it was 4-2.
Vinicius Junior raced 80 yards up the pitch, cutting in from the left flank, and rifled into the top right corner of the net.
He's the best player in the world right now.
Vini wasn't done there either.
Having one super saiyan int he final 20 minutes of the game, the Brazilian completed his hat tirck by drifting past two defenders and canoning the ball into the net from the left of the box.
He's. Too. Good.
