Newcastle team news
Eddie Howe is still missing a number of key players, both through injury and as a result of this summer's international football frenzy. Callum Wilson, Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles are all in the treatment room, while Kieran Trippier and Anthony Gordon are still recovering from England duty.
That being said, Newcastle still boast a strong and deep squad for the upcoming clash. Jacob Murphy, Alexander Isak and Harvey Barnes have all impressed thus far, with Joe Willock and Joelinton also featuring last time out following injury-hit 2023/24 campaigns.

Yokohama F. Marinos vs Newcastle score prediction
Yokohama F. Marinos managed to beat J1 League leaders Machida Zelvia last time out following Kewell's dismissal, but the result only lifted them to 11th in the table. Regardless, their sharp match fitness should offer Newcastle a good test - although tenth-placed Urawa Red Diamonds were unable to do so last time out.
Newcastle have been in promising goalscoring form lately and should have far too much firepower for their hosts this weekend. Howe is also welcoming some of his internationals back into the fold, with a handful of youngsters having also impressed in pre-season.
It should be a fairly straightforward victory for the Magpies, even if a clean sheet is not guaranteed.
